It’s been a turbulent year with not a lot to cheer about. For that reason we are even more excited than usual to share rare good news: we are working with the Besnard Lakes!
The gorgeous “Raindrops” is the first single from the upcoming album. Listen or watch the psychedelic video here. As Brooklyn Vegan said, it “combines shoegaze atmospherics and Beach Boys-eque harmonies in a widescreen sound that is signature Besnard Lakes”. Yup.
We’ve been huge fans of the band’s sweeping and epic output since they stormed into sight with “The Besnard Lakes are the Dark Horse”. Over the course of the last decade they released a series of consistently solid albums - but fans haven’t heard much from the band since their last LP in 2016. Well, fortunately that changes now.
